The olympics torch

Writing right from my bed, i'm trapped at home for a flue that don't want to leave me since saturday.
I still have many pics and many things to share about my vacation to UK.
I also noticed that London has been a common choice for many fb friends, this summer.
But back to te subject:
It happened, while we were in Bredford, that the Olympics torch passed trough Lister Park, that was quite close to my friends home, so even if i don't care about the Olympics games it was a nice event to see.
Here a view of the park, very beautiful and quite big.

We checked the torch path on the web until the time was right, so we didn't had to wait too long.
The park was very crowded so my bf had to put me on his shoulder to le me see something (i'm short!) and that was perfect to take some good pics!

After the torch has passed we went for a walk trough the park and ended to the museum

Affleck Palace

Looking to find some lolita clothes i asked mu friends, to take us to Affleck Palace in Manchester.
It is a, 3 and half floors, palace with open market of alternative shops, like a little Camden Town.
In there we found a small bar in 50's style.

I was really tempted to buy many things, but as usual my taste are too complicate.
But at least i got a Petticoat and a jeans.
The lolita shop didn't had anything SO good to make me really wanting it, and price were too high for what it had.

The palace is in the city center and is very easy to get ther with the bus (we drived from Leeds to Manchester, then we parked the car and got the bus to go to the center)

On the first floor there is a very cool shop to get everything is needed to craft jewels, bracelets, rings, necklaces.

Steampunk, kawaii, or whatever is the style you are looking for.

Vivienne Westwoods in Leeds

Well...I know, there are Vivienne Westwood shops in Milan aswell, just I was not expecting to find one in Leeds.
It was in this luxury fashion arcade.

I like very few things from Vivienne Westwood, and i really think prices are just crazy.

The trip is starting - UK here we come!

Hi all!
Tomorrow we are finally living for the UK YEEHH!
This is my third time, first time i went to London i was 15yo and haven't been a nice vacation to be honest!
My grandparents wanted to take me with them when they went to see my Auntie that was living in there.
But i was so young and shy and they weren't letting me do nothing..sooooo sad!
Then i went back 2 years ago and was great!
Now I'm going there again with my boyfriend (so you know we are together from less then 2 years ahah ) he has never been there, and even if there are so many places around the world to see, I really love UK so i was happy to go there again with him.
Our first stop will be to Leeds, we will be to a friend of mine place, he came here in Italy about 3 or 4 years ago and was with me for about a week.
After 5 days in leeds we will move to London for 5 more days.
I have a plan to all the things we have to do, and they seems too many i hope we can do them all ahahah.

Tonight we are going to listen one of my favorite group Rise Against, to Magnolia, i did listen to their last album for a month, everyday, to learn the songs ahahah, but i don't know if i will have time to post about that.
