Back in Loli-action

Hello everybody!
I'm back!
My pregnancy ended on September the 7th and i gave born to my biggest love Mattia.

So when i was told that a meeting was going to happen i was so happy!
Finally a chance to wear lolita again, yay!

Sadly even if i lost 10kg i still have the belly, it won't go totally away before 6 or 12 months.
So i can't wear many dresses and skirt I own, but there are a few that already fit me.

Me, my husband and my little one, yesterday got ready to spend the whole day out.
Yeah my husband helped me, he is a great daddy and a great husband.

This was my outfit, very simple cause i didn't had time to try many things, newborns takes away all your time ;)

And i was not the only Loli mommy, also a friend of the lolita community who had a little girl 4 months ago came to the meeting!
Has been so cool!

We did sit close so we could share our experience without disturbing too much the other lolitas with the little ones that woke up now and then.
I was a bit afraid to take the baby with me, because he could be annoying for somebody, but actually all the girls were so nice with us, I enjoied the lunch and the company <3

La Scala Theater

The day after the Teaparty, some of us met up to go visit the most famous theater in Italy , with the San Carlo Theater in Naples.

I'm living in Milan from just 3 years and I did never visit it, so i was happy about this choice.

I'm the shorter one!

As you can see we were less then half then the teaparty.
We visited the theater itself

TEACUP - Italian Lolita Teaparty

Finally i get some spare time to post about it!
I want to start telling you that has been GREAT!

But it all started like a nightmare, my own nightmare.
It all started a week before the party, i was trying the full outfit with wigs and makeup.
I splitted by mistake some bb cream on the blouse, but i was still okay, there was still a week to go before the party, so i took the blouse to the laundry, and they told me there were no problem, just they needed a couple of day more, i told em i was going the next Friday.

The week of the teaparty was full of things to do, i was out every evening, so friday arrived, and i had an appointment to the hairstylist to cut wig fringe.
But the train was late....and when it arrived something got broke and we have been kept as hostage for about 50 minutes.
While i was waiting for the train to move my bf called and told me the laundry forgot about my blouse and he almost argued with them to get it back.

I was so upset!
Saturday arrived and i woke up at 9 to run to the hairstylist then back home to get ready.
A cat lost my ring, my blouse had a spot of bb cream under the wig roll, a fake nail come off right when i close the door behind me to leave.
Into the car i told to my bf "i just want this day to end"

But then i arrived to the location, and everything was so AMAZING i totally forgot about everything else.
We were at Residenza Vignale, an historical Home in Milan.
We had the whole place all reserved to us.
The hall, the wardrobe.
A room was set up as little market where lolita fellows could sell their own creations

Sweets!

We had a workshop where Sybelle Photography and the model Deborah Luna Santarelli explained us how to pose for a photo with a photographer or a self-shot

Sybe had a proper photoset just for us! She got so many beautyful photos, that i'll show you later ;)

At the end was hosted a lottery and the first prize was:
INNOCENT WORLD SIDE DRAPE JUMPERSKIRT

We had some great time together.

A big THANKS to the organizers.

Lolita Blog Carnival: 5 themed meetup ideas

Ohhh this week is an hard topic....
FIVE ideas...let's see....

1.
Crossover dressup
When we were at Lucca, some of us went to have dinner together as an official community event.
There, between a laugh and another, we spoke about the idea of a crossover dress up in lolita with a different trend.
For example:
Metal-Lolita
Emo-Lolita
HipHop-Lolita

This would be hilarious.

2.
Cooking contest

Yeah a meeting where, who wants, can partecipate to a contest and cook a pie or cake or a sweet.
And in the end all those cakes can be eaten by the lolitas who will vote for the tasty one or the cutest one, and there could be a prize.

3.
Iceskate (or just skate)

Lot of fun and cuteness, and even if somebody is not good at skating (i grew up in a place with no ice and no snow so i can just "normal" kate) it's a good opportunity to learn!
And after skating a good hot chololate!

4.
Picnic forever!

I LOVE picnic, i would do a picnic everyday.....uhm....every weekend maybe.
As a theme for food i'd say an healty/natural one, so lot of seasonal food and fruits.
I don't care if is not original, i can't exclude a  picnic! <3

5.
Play your favorite book's character

The meeting could be based on a single book and everybody could re-interpet (sorry i don't know if this is the right word) a character of the book.
Or just everybody chose a character from a book and dress up like it in lolita style
