Lovely spring time

Finally spring is here!
No more grey and cold, no more rain and clouds!
Sun and colors invade the world, YAY!
And what is better then sunny Sunday to do a picnic?

We were all so pretty and incarnate the perfect spirit of the spring

We got many compliments, people told us we looked like a paint, and of course many wanted to take pic of us.

Even with my belly I managed to fit into some lolita clothes, it was a casual outfit and you can see my cubic shape XD

 

I really had a great time, thanks to everybody and especially my husband for the help and the photos! <3

LBC: Historical Inspired Coordinates

First thing that come into my mind is Marie Antoniette.

She has been made, especially by the media, a great style icon.

I'm not talking about the history of course, we all know how it went (or we all should know!)

Many things has been said about her.

But who has not see the most recent movie Marie Antoniette?

And who can forget all the marvelous dresses?

Not to mention the fun scene with all the shoes and the converse

That was hard trust me!
My lolita closet is still small, basically i used almost it all, so please forgive me if is not perfect or vary!
This is first time i do something like that.
It was fun anyway!

Just Birthdance! (what?!)

It is time to post something about the great weekend i had with my loli friends.
I found odd to specify every time that they are my "lolita" friends, cause i guess a friend is a friend!
But we met thanks to lolita and we use to go out in lolita together so i guess....they are my loli friends (and i love them!)

That was like going to camping out, having a sleep-over party, a dance party, a birthday party, all together.
I felt lika i was teenager again!
No one of us is a teenager anymore though (Just for a little bit :P )
We had decorated plastic glass.

And played to just dance, in 3 teams for almost the whole time, until we were so tired we crumbled to the ground!

The loli-team was very strong, but the guys had a better endurance and we failed in the end cause too tired (yeah it is because we were tired, i swear!)
Then we placed our tents....or well....just the sleeping-bags on the living room floor

Miniatures and doll houses

This saturday we celebrated another birthday (and more will come!).
We started from her favorite japanese restaurant.
After that we went to the miniautres convention, i've never seen one before, it was all so cute! (and expensive lol)
An aunty of mine ha build her own doll house and i'm sure she would love that convention, but i wasn't able to buy anithing to her because she lives so far and i have no clue what she need at this moment for her ouse andi know she is very picky about it!

My boots with me everywhere...i hope to be able to use heels soon with lolita, but not when i have to go walking around!

A victorian treasure hunt

I woke up at 8.30 am on a cold saturday morning.
The train from Milan to Turin was at 11.18 am, and i still had to buy the ticket.
The meeting with the other girls was at the central train station.

Milan was very cold, still covered by a white veil of fresh snow, it snowed almost the whole friday.
I had to change the whole outfit i had planned, because moonboots were not okay under a victorian skirt that leaves the ankles out....i tried with a lolita skirt but was looking ugly.....so i just went casual lolita....if it can be called so...i really don't know...

When we arrived we found out Turin, was clean, sunny and there was no trace of snow...
I was dressed up like there was going to be a snowstorm cause meteo said so...but it was wrong...and i sweat the whole day.
I had to change my outfit..because of snow and there was no snow at all..
FFS.....

I felt so stupid.
So i will show you just few pics...where you can just see my coat.
Even my face was awful.

We had a envelope with the hints, they were numered so we had to start from the first to arrive to the last one.
In every team ( 4 of them) there was a person with whatsapp and a person who knows Turin.
The hint had to lead you to a place, like museums, or sculptures, the team had to take a pic of that place and send it to the coordinator, if it was right we were allowed to read the next hint.

We were going very good, but we went to the wrong place of the last hint. it was very far, so we lost lot of time and we arrived last eheheh.

but is okay it was jus for fun.

The prize was a bag of candies, and the winners gave some candies to everybody.

After the treasure hunt we all went to a tea room to get coffee, tea, beer, oranje juice and whatever.

Larp! Vampires the Masquerade season 2012

This time a lolita friend of mine, started her character and joined the chronicle :D
We are already playng D&D together and she decided to try larping with me!

I'm in lolita, if somebody is wondering, but that is just a copy of a replica(so u can guess the quality) that i use to larp, i got it at a very cheap price i didn't know it was a replica until i saw the original.

I think you can see a clear lolita influence in our vampires outfit ^^

Lucca Comics 2012 : Lolita shopping

I forgot to mention the most important shopping i did!
At the gothic lolita stand to the convention there was a little market with the clothes lolita of the community wanted to sell.
So i got this Bodyline skirt for e very friendly price.
I was looking for a floreal/country style skirt or op or jsk since this summer and finally got one.
So there the new piece of my small lolita wardrobe yeeeh!

Ah! Sorry if it is a bit wrinkled but it has been in the suitcase for the trip back home from the convention.
On the sunday , the same day of the lolita pageant, you can see here, we had a dinner out with the community to celebrate the hard work!
I wanted to use right away the (not-so)new skirt.
This was my outfit for the night.

I'm also wearing a pendant it is not showing very good in this pic, but you can find here the detail, and the handmade lace hairband 

No pics of the dinner with the lolita community we were all too busy to eat and relax after a very hard day of work :)

An Halloween Night...mare!

Yesterday I've been on a rush the whole day.....
to be honest I've been on a rush since Monday, with job and preparation for the imminent trip to Lucca Convention.
Thuesday, right after job i run to home to prepare for the night out with my friend, we went to see Rocky Horror Picture show to the local cinema, it was the special Halloween event.
We were all dressed up, and we had the songs lyrics, ready to sing and dance!
That was my outfit

But in the end, we were the only ones dressed up, and nobody was dancing!
But since the music was so loud we singed along and nobody noticed eheheh, us and and an old lady behind us.
It was quite late when we were back home and i had to prepare bag for the day after, cause i was going right after job to see a colleague of mine who is pregnant, with other colleagues (friends), we got lost, we got lot of rain, but we had much fun together, and she is so beautiful! She showed us her home we had never seen and the baby room....OMG so lovely!
After having dinner together i got ready to go to the halloween party with my bf, who was coming to get me, and a couple of friends.

If you got to here...i want you to know that i am leaving for Lucca convention tomorrow morning and i won't be back until Sunday night, prolly no post until at least Monday.
