Review: Classical Puppets Petticoats, The 69th Department blouse and Surface Spell Blouse

You know that feeling when your order finally arrives?
Yeah that!

I did this order right after Christmas, it was payed with all the presents (in cash) i got from relatives, so you can guess it took alot for this order.
But this is because, I needed abouth a month to decide what to buy, because some things i wanted were sold out in the color i wanted, or there were not in my measure.
Then it arrived chinese new year eve.
and then, since i bought from different shops there was to wait for every single piece to arrive, then to pack it all together.
But the expedition itself was fast, about 2 weeks.

By opening it the first thin i saw was my new wig!

I'll write a special review just for it, another day, i didn't had time to try it properly (i'm too busy lately!)

I made an order for a basic lolita wardrobe, so i bought 2 long sleeves blouse, black and withe

The white one is from The 69th Department.
Simple cotton.
Size is L, even if, for this one, M would have been my measures i decided to get a bigger one to be "safe".
It fits me well, but i think M would work good too.
I like the shape is very girly.
And it got very cute button (sorry i don't have a detail).
Since it was exactly what i was expecting from a scale from 0 to 5 i give it a 5.

Black one is from Surface Spell.

Simple cotton, bigger ribbon and a cameo, i guess it is characteristic, because is the same one i got on the velvet jsk.

The measures were smaller then the 69th department one so i got an XL but it is too big, luckly this model can be thigten on the back, still i think shoulder are a bit too big.

The blouse itself is nice anyway.

So i give it a 5 too, cause wrong measures is always a risk when you buy online.

For a basic wardorbe i needed different shape petticoats, so i got a cupcake shaped one and another A line, but i black. Now i own 4 petticoats i think i'm gonna be okay for a bit ;)

I got them both from Classical Puppets.

The cupcake one is very fluffly! Love it!

It is soft and comfortable

big 5 for it!

A line one is lesser fluffy, and the material it is made of is different from the other one (but i knew) i like more the one i got from Hell Bunny.
But this one is the right length.
I give it a 4.

I also got, about a month ago, a blouse from Kidsyoyo i forgot to write about, and a skirt from Lady Sloth.
Oh my!
I'm so lazy but also very busy.
Beside job there are the Vampires Lives, and pen and paper rpg evening, and we were looking for a new home (and we found it!) and the wedding, and all the friends.etcetc.
Today i'm leaving for Itrill birthday, with Kat and Abigail, we going to Bologna and will be back tomorrow.

Lucca Comics 2012 : Lolita shopping

I forgot to mention the most important shopping i did!
At the gothic lolita stand to the convention there was a little market with the clothes lolita of the community wanted to sell.
So i got this Bodyline skirt for e very friendly price.
I was looking for a floreal/country style skirt or op or jsk since this summer and finally got one.
So there the new piece of my small lolita wardrobe yeeeh!

Ah! Sorry if it is a bit wrinkled but it has been in the suitcase for the trip back home from the convention.
On the sunday , the same day of the lolita pageant, you can see here, we had a dinner out with the community to celebrate the hard work!
I wanted to use right away the (not-so)new skirt.
This was my outfit for the night.

I'm also wearing a pendant it is not showing very good in this pic, but you can find here the detail, and the handmade lace hairband 

No pics of the dinner with the lolita community we were all too busy to eat and relax after a very hard day of work :)

Review: HMHM coat and Loli-Loli paradise shopping service

Couple of days ago, arrived the coat i ordered from Taobao, i was happily surprised to get it after just 15days from shipping and not 30!

Let's start from Loli-Loli Paradise, you can find her on Facebook here.
She has been very helpful, replying to my message quite fast, and being very clear.
The fee is about 10-15% not sure with the change.
She helped me with the measures and has been very patient with all my messages and answers.
Also helped with the customs, it passed for free!
So, on a scale of 5 i would give to her shopping service 5+

HMHM Coat.
I love it!

It is very well done, except maybe the inside that feels like too delicate.

It fit very well and the measures are perfect

It is soft and warm, but prolly not enough for under (or close) zero degrees.

It also came with a cape and the fur is all detachable.
The only bad thing is it has no pocket.

So i would give it 4
But i love it! so it's a 4+

Lolita Blog Carnival : Your style outside of Lolita

New topic for the LBC Project (loving it!)

That's a bit odd, because i'm still building my lolita wardrobe and i had not yet a chance to wear a full lolita outfit, but anyway i want to partecipate!
Just took a single new pic for this post, and going to use some old pic i took during the past weeks, because i use to take pic of me after dressing up, not having a full size mirror i have to climb up a chair ..ehehe.
So it is easier to take pic and watch it to check everything is ok ad I can go out.

I'm a very casual girl so i don't even give a name to the style i use, i like gothic and punk and i used to dress like that more when i was younger.
Having to go to the office, thou, pushed me to buy clothes i could wear to job, plus i play LARP and often i buy clothes for my character's costumes.
I don't have enough money for so many different wardrobes! XD

Let's start with my usual office outfits.

During the day when I'm not at job i like to chill out in casual, but always girly.

At night i like a look a little bit more aggressive, and maybe you can see here a little taste of punk and gothic.

As you can see I'm a very normal girl :)
I also like heels, but only when is not really needed to walk!

Lolita Style for Beginners

      

So you want to dress in lolita style?

Do you know what it actually is?

Do you know where to buy and what?

Do you know where to start?

As a beginner myself, I can give you some advice.

First of all

DON’T RUSH!

Don’t buy anything now, because if you don’t know yet what you really want, and what really is LOLITA, then you will end buying something that is NOT Lolita.

Paying for it money it doesn’t worth.

What you really need now is to learn.

So find some Lolita communities, if there are in your country/town, and get on the most popular Lolita communities on the web as EGL on live journal http://egl.livejournal.com/

And study, read, watch, study again and read and watch again.

A good place to start is Hello Lace http://hellolace.net/ here you can actually learn alot about every Lolita style, then when you decided what is the style you want to follow, start to build a basic wardrobe.

So don’t go to buy an OP (one piece) , or a JSK (jumper skirt), start with something easier, get one or more blouses, and skirts, a petticoat and then start to get other accessories to build an outfit around those things.

Then when you feel comfortable go for a jsk and/or an OP.

My 2 newbie cents

Into the vortex of tracking pack!

Finally my pack was trackable on the japanese website.
I know everything is delayed due the holiday, but i think in japan August the 15 is nothing special.
In fact :

I placed the order on August the 9, but they sent just on the 15 :(
I can't track it yet in italy, and i have no idea how long it will take and how long it will stay at the custom.
I hope to get it for the end of the month.
I'm ready to place a new order, but not on bodyline.
I'm gonna buy a coat, i need a new one for the winter, so i'm gonna get a lolita style one, yay!

If you are out of money....

You gotta find a solution!
As you know i ordered from bodyline, so probably you are thinking
"Hey this girl always complain about being out of money but keep spending!"
Yeah, i sold my old smartphone, this is how i got money to order the boots.

But i had unexpected charges, i changed bank and the old one kept 75 € to close the account (using some poor excuse ) i will probaly get some of those money back in a couple of months (like maybe 15 €)

I gave a look around to find a second job, but it can't be a full time one, since i already have one, and i hand't any luck untill now.

I wanna buy some lolita clothes for the winter, this mean i MUST save some money to be able to order those clothes.

So starting from tomorrow, the program is to survive with 10 € per day untill the next salary.

Except thursday when i had already planned a lunch out with a friend so it is already included in the spend review.

I was thinking about adding a page for my wardrobe where to post and give an order to the clothes i own, but just those that are fine for lolita style.
I know there are sites that does that, like poupee.
It is not going to be a big job for me, since my lolita wardrobe is very small at the moment.
Just i'm too lazy and, to be honest, I'm also embarassed cause i don't have money to buy expensive brands clothes...

About fitness and diet

I should be posting about my vacation in England, I still have many pics to organize and such.
But lately i'm being lazy with that, also 'cause I'm busy, with job, gym, cats, bf, friends.
All things that make me happy...except the job....not that it makes me sad but i would like to earn money without having to get to the office and argue with customers everyday XD.

Today is my last day to the gym because they are closing for the next 2 weeks due vacations.
I disagree about this closing, i payed the whole month but i can't go for 2 weeks.
I wish it wasn't so hot so i culd play to just dance for some exercise, we dont have air-conditioner at home :(

I'm working hard to win my battle against fat.
NOTE: I don't think who is overweight is ugly.
But i don't wanna be overweight, it is ugly ON ME.
I'm short and all my fat goes on my hips and legs and bottom, it makes me look ridiculous.
I wanna wear some kind of dresses that i think would look good on me only if i stay thin.
Plus I'm tryin to be healty with food and exercise , because...i wanna stay young and live forever XD

Since January i lost 8.5 kg ( 18.74 lbs ), nothing impressive or extreme, i did it with the right times, in the right way and it is something is going to last.
Because of that i had to renew my wardrobe, many things were too big for me to use again, so 2 days ago i gave a look to my closets and startet to trow or to give away shirts i was no longer using, i also found something i can try to sell.
Next step is the wardrobe itself, i know there are many jeans and slacks i can get rid off, to make some space for my next shopping.
I'm gonna need many new things for the winter cause all the old clothes are big (yay!) and i wanna buy lolita clothes that, indeed, take a good amount of space (and money).

What i would like to get, also, are some parigine, the socks over the knee, but for those i really need to do something for my legs and find a good way to wear them, my legs are not good looking at all :(
And even with the gym they are not so firm.

Anyway i'm close to my goal, even if i know my legs will never be thin, cause they have never been, that's my body, is not going to change, my aunties got my same legs and hips.
