日本への旅 - 6日目と7 (Trip to Japan - day 6 and 7 )

Usually we had western breakfast at the hotel but for the coffee we always went to Starbucks (at the hotel coffee was....well...bleah...is hard for Italians to have coffee outside Italy) that is at the first floor of the hotel building, in Japan they doesn't have floor 0 (in Italy we have ground floor / piano terra) they start from first floor.
After breakfast we took a little train that runs on trails across homes

and went to Arashiyama to visit Tenryuji temple and the bamboo forest.

They have a good care for the garden and the bamboo forest, there are people removing wild plant and repairing things costantly.

We entered the temple of the clouds dragon (not sure about the name) where pics wasnìt allowed.....but i took a sneaky one (bad girl!)

On the way back we went to the Shogun palace in Kyoto (Nijo castle), inside the palace pic where not allowed, but it was so beautiful!
Like in anime or manga where you see the old time of japan, people walking in this wood corridors, in kimono without shoes, with rooms without wall, just made of big sliding doors (I don't know if is clear what i mean).
We took pics of the huge garden around

On day 7 we went to Inari to the Fushimi-Inari-Taisha Shrine and we walked the Tori path in the wood on the hill.

Belgioioso Vintage exhibition

Belgioioso castle often hosts very nice exhibition.
Like Belgioioso Fantasy.
This time the weather was different, but luckily not yet so cold!

The castle is always as beautiful as the first time

My friends and me decided to go dressed in lolita, we use every opportunity to dress up!
We gathered inside the castle and walked around watching some very beautiful and expensive pieces and some other useless and ugly stuff.

We were hoping for a fluke to get an awesome deal.

But in the end we didn't find anything it was worth enough to buy, but i wanted a souvenir anyway!

And we enjoyed the time together (especially at the pub !)

Color experiment

Lucca comics and games is getting closer!
At the end of the month, as every year, we will drive to Lucca city for the biggest comics and games exhibition here in Italy.
It usually goes on for 3 or 4 days depending on the day of the week Noveber the 1 happens to fall (because it is vacation).

But back to the topic.
For my cosplay (not going to reveal it yet ), i needed yellow socks, but i wasnt ablet to find the yellow i needed or the right length of the socks, so i decide to do it by my self.
Initially i wanted to buy that stuff you use with the washin machines to color clothes, but I couldn't find the right color neither.
So after googling a bit i found out how to self made colors ti dye clothes in yellow with "green" product!

Here what you need:

• Water
• Salt
• White vinegar
• saffron 

What to do:
Dunk the sock into the vinegar and let them there for 2 hours

When the time has passed, place the saffron in a pot with water and lot lot lot of salt, and put the on fire until it boils

At that point turn off the fire and place the clothes inside the yellow water, it must stays for many hours so leave it for the whole night.

As you can see it is already yellow.
The day after wash them (alone cause they leave lot of colors)
and your new clothes will be ready!

As you can see the color is not uniform, better to do more experiment!

They are good enough for what i need.

So try to guess, what cosplay i'm going to do?
