Back in Loli-action

Hello everybody!
I'm back!
My pregnancy ended on September the 7th and i gave born to my biggest love Mattia.

So when i was told that a meeting was going to happen i was so happy!
Finally a chance to wear lolita again, yay!

Sadly even if i lost 10kg i still have the belly, it won't go totally away before 6 or 12 months.
So i can't wear many dresses and skirt I own, but there are a few that already fit me.

Me, my husband and my little one, yesterday got ready to spend the whole day out.
Yeah my husband helped me, he is a great daddy and a great husband.

This was my outfit, very simple cause i didn't had time to try many things, newborns takes away all your time ;)

The dress is one from the last IW happy pack,  you ca see the post here .
And i was not the only Loli mommy, also a friend of the lolita community who had a little girl 4 months ago came to the meeting!
Has been so cool!

We did sit close so we could share our experience without disturbing too much the other lolitas with the little ones that woke up now and then.
I was a bit afraid to take the baby with me, because he could be annoying for somebody, but actually all the girls were so nice with us, I enjoied the lunch and the company <3

Birthday present finally delivered

My birthday has been in June.
And even if i'm married and about to have a baby, my parents still gives me presents (why should they not!? XD) but since years they prefer just give me money so I can buy whatever I want.
And my pick has been a new pair of shoes for lolita.

After 2 months from my birthday (but I actually ordered them less then 1 month ago) they finally arrived, YAY!

Got them from my Taobao shopping service, Loli-loli paradise, you can find her on Facebook.

I, honestly have no clue about the brand name, because she said "random shoes factory" and inside the shoes there is just a written that says LOLITA.

I find them very cute, and this color is a soft pink good for classic style, they are soft and seems to be comfortable, but can't really say until I try them for an outfit (I plan to use them to go to the one to Paris in February/March 2015)

Inside the shoes package there was also a present!

Innocent World Happy Pack 2014

I think has been out for about 2 weeks.

I noticed it at the beginning of last week, around June the 17th, and i was very excited.

But the website was not working, I could get to the HP page only via a web search but not from the IW website, cause the online shop was not working.

I contacted my shopping service right away, so that they could start working on the order, But I had to wait until the website started working again.

IW was updating it, now is quite different.

Size S and L were already sold out, luckly i usually wear size M (i hope it will still be the same after childbirth)

And I finally managed to get my order done!

Yay!

So now I'm waiting for it, it will be send at the beginning of July, so prolly I'll have it at the end of August or September.

I must say that i know somebody who loves secrets and did post something but then get very upset if a secret happens to involve her.

I have never posted a secret yet, nor i received one....( i was involved in a group one but i was the one looking OK ).

I don't think i would get upset, but who knows...

Lovely spring time

Finally spring is here!
No more grey and cold, no more rain and clouds!
Sun and colors invade the world, YAY!
And what is better then sunny Sunday to do a picnic?

We were all so pretty and incarnate the perfect spirit of the spring

We got many compliments, people told us we looked like a paint, and of course many wanted to take pic of us.

Even with my belly I managed to fit into some lolita clothes, it was a casual outfit and you can see my cubic shape XD

 

I really had a great time, thanks to everybody and especially my husband for the help and the photos! <3

Review: Chess Story Coat

I wanted this coat so bad, but now is too cold to use it, it is good for spring/autumn weather, but is too light for winter.

 

I guess it is very sweet style, I've always been just classic, but lately I'm enjoying a soft sweet lolita style too.
The coat is very well made and all the buttons works properly
It got lot of bows, 2 on the sleeves,

2 on the pockets,

one on the front and one on the back.

 

The fake fur collar (I say it is fake because is not soft enough to be real, but I'm actually not sure about that)

is detachable as the front bow

Also the inside is very well made and pretty

(yeah that is an iron, sometimes ironing is needed XD but not the inside of the coat! )

The only thing that stops me to give the max grade to this coat is that i thought the fabric was going to be a bit more soft.

So in the end i give it on a scale from 0 to 5

Review: Infanta - Sleeping beauty skirt & Pink chiffon blouse

As promised, I'm back with a new review!

Infanta Sleeping Beauty, skirt version

Lately I'm really in love with brown and cream colors, and the pink one was just too sweet for me!

The stamp is very pretty, here you can see it more closely

The fabric is not heavy is good for spring and autumn, with proper tights it can be used in winter too, but is not going to save you from the cold of course.

For Hot summer it might be too heavy.

The shape is not perfect and the bow comes unstitched, i will need to give it a few seams.

 

I can't say that i'm really satisfied about the skirt, it is very nice, but the quality could have been better so from 0 to 5 i give to the skirt

The blouse is lovable!

I planned to get it in brown but it was sold out, but the pink one si just perfect, I'm very happy i got that one.

The chiffon is so soft and comfortable is a pleasure to wear

But there is one only thing that stops me to give it a full 5.

On the awesome cuffs, the slots for buttos are too small and there is no way to button it up.

Too bad Infanta, too bad!

Because of this, that is quite important, i have to give to the blouse, from 0 to 5

Review: Lady Sloth - Navy Gobelin JSK

Some times ago i ordered this JSK from Lady Sloth, did not had a chance to wear it yet, but finally i got some spare time to write a review about it.

This is the second time i buy from Lady Sloth and I must say she is always kind, helpful and professional.

First shipping got lost, i have no idea how and where, but i never received it.
When I told her she made me a whole new dress, and shipped it and i didn't had to pay anything else.
I'm very grateful for that.

So for the service a give her from 0 to 5 a 5++ and for the shipment another 5, because for sure it was a postal service mistake

THE PACKING

the package was whole and the address was printed

The dress inside was wrapped in another plastic to protect it better, when i opened it the dress was ironed it just had a few creases because it was shipped of course.

There was also an hair accessory

 

THE DRESS

When i saw it first thing i though was "it's gorgeous".

 

The fabric is not the usual cotton it is, let's say "rough", a little bit ticker and rigid perhaps, but in a good way, it gives to the dress that special look, and when i did try it on it was very comfortable, plus it is shirred on the front and the back.

But now lets see more details:

The ruffle is made of chiffon as the shirring on the front and it is very soft.

I love this color.

The lace is made of cotton, it was planned to be in navy but when first shipment got lost she only had this pink one left, but i think i like this one even more.

The bow is detachable and that's very good because i always need a belt, so i can pin the bow somewhere else.

LBC: How i got interested in Lolita

Starting from the very beginning i don't really remember where, and when i started being interested in lolita fashion.

The first memory i have, was a night, many years ago when i was still living in Brescia and went to a dance club in Milan.
A club where i still used to go a couple of years ago.
There were 2 girls at this club and , at least in the dark, they seemed dressed in gothic lolita, but i was so unaware about lolita that i can't really say.
By the way, i was very excited seeing them, that i still wonder who they were.
At that time there was just the gothic style in lolita, in my imaginary.
So to me it was all like this

It was probably 2007 or 2008.

During the months after that, i googled a bit around about lolita and i found the italian community and registered to the forum, but i never posted nor really looked alot at it.

I was living alone in a city where "fashion" and "different" were blasphemy.

About one year after I moved from fantasy Larp to vampires, and I thought that gothic lolita look would have been great to play a vampire!

And so i got my firs VERY ITA dress from an odd shop that opened in the city i was living in.

The time passed and Lucca Comics and Games 2011 arrived.

We were walking inside the Japan palace and in that precise moment the Lolita Italian Community was hosting a conference about the lolita fashion.

So i stopped to listen for a bit and I found out there was not just the old school gothic lolita, but many other style, that to me looked like something i could have actually weared for everyday or special occasion.

And thn i fell in love.

But still i was (and still i am) such a noob.

That summer i went to London and i found a (crap yeah) lolita shop in camden town and there i got another dress to play vampire

Now I know this dress is a Rose Melody replica

So it all started 'cause of the larp, i needed cool dresses to dress up my character but i ended really loving the fashion and totally changing style.

I started thinking my way was gothic or panku, but now i'm totally classic.

Little by little i did learn about this fashion through the girls I met on the forum community that now are my close friends.
