LBC : Your favorite three pairs of shoes for Lolita

Hello everybody!
This one is very easy for me.
My favorite pair of shoes, over everything else are my boots!

I used them EVERYWHERE.
So much that in the end i broke them and I'm very sad.
I can't find another pair like this, gonna wait for the winter or try to fix them.

To the second place I put the shoes I used for my wedding and for the GLZ tea party in 2013

And at the third place, the only shoes that are actually made for lolita

Same dress different outfit

Got them from Bodyline in Harajuku during my honeymoon, and I would like to get a pastel pink pair aswell.

Thanks for reading!

LBC: What's Next On Your Lolita Wishlist?

It is complicate to talk about my wish list, because my lolita wardrobe is still very small and my wish list is still quite long.
Even if there are dresses i haven't worn yet, because I'm waiting the right moment, because any of them is special for me and I don't want to waste an outfit that might be a good one.
Also being pregnant at the moment stops me to even watch sales 'cause it is a pain.

Bt the way, I want to show you my 2 dream dresses, i always look for them and soon or later i'll get them.

From left to right: theresia rose jsk IW and Fairy Chiffon Doll Dress Victorian Maiden.

My dream dresses are on my wish list but not exactly at the first places.
I'm saving money for the next Lucky Pack/Happy bag incoming (spring or summer?)
Not being very wealthy this is my opportunity to have a couple of brand new pieces and this time i wish to buy a medium lucky pack all by myself, i also asked to my husband to help me to buy one for my birthday that is in June.

And i hope around November/December to can fit into lolita clothes again ;)

Thanks for reading

LBC: Historical Inspired Coordinates

First thing that come into my mind is Marie Antoniette.

She has been made, especially by the media, a great style icon.
I'm not talking about the history of course, we all know how it went (or we all should know!)
Many things has been said about her.
But who has not see the most recent movie Marie Antoniette?
And who can forget all the marvelous dresses?

Not to mention the fun scene with all the shoes and the converse

So i picked her as my inspiration for this week LBC theme

Marie Antoniette inspired Lolita Outfit
Mary Magdalene Elmelia OP
Mary Magdalene Eglantyne Parasol
Mary Magdalene Rose Garden Canotier (Hat)
Mary Magdalene Eglantine Doctors Bag
BTSSB Princess Pumps

The outfit is quite expensive, but i'm sure a queen can afford it!

LBC: How i got interested in Lolita

Starting from the very beginning i don't really remember where, and when i started being interested in lolita fashion.

The first memory i have, was a night, many years ago when i was still living in Brescia and went to a dance club in Milan.
A club where i still used to go a couple of years ago.
There were 2 girls at this club and , at least in the dark, they seemed dressed in gothic lolita, but i was so unaware about lolita that i can't really say.
By the way, i was very excited seeing them, that i still wonder who they were.
At that time there was just the gothic style in lolita, in my imaginary.
So to me it was all like this

It was probably 2007 or 2008.
During the months after that, i googled a bit around about lolita and i found the italian community and registered to the forum, but i never posted nor really looked alot at it.
I was living alone in a city where "fashion" and "different" were blasphemy.
About one year after I moved from fantasy Larp to vampires, and I thought that gothic lolita look would have been great to play a vampire!
And so i got my firs VERY ITA dress from an odd shop that opened in the city i was living in.
Don't laugh to loud please
me as a vampire little girl

The time passed and Lucca Comics and Games 2011 arrived.
We were walking inside the Japan palace and in that precise moment the Lolita Italian Community was hosting a conference about the lolita fashion.

So i stopped to listen for a bit and I found out there was not just the old school gothic lolita, but many other style, that to me looked like something i could have actually weared for everyday or special occasion.
And thn i fell in love.
But still i was (and still i am) such a noob.
That summer i went to London and i found a (crap yeah) lolita shop in camden town and there i got another dress to play vampire
Same character as before
Now I know this dress is a Rose Melody replica
So it all started 'cause of the larp, i needed cool dresses to dress up my character but i ended really loving the fashion and totally changing style.
I started thinking my way was gothic or panku, but now i'm totally classic.
Little by little i did learn about this fashion through the girls I met on the forum community that now are my close friends.

And now the best photos ever:

LBC: A piece you haven't worn in a long time, and why you're holding onto it

I know! Has been long time since my last LBC post.
I want to apology, i keep following the other blogs and the group, but i've been so busy with other things, it was hard to find time to post on blog, and sometime I just had no idea what to write about that specific topic.

But when i read the topic for this friday and started to think about it, the idea came into my mind and i wanted to post, but as usual i had no time to do it, thats wny i'm so late.

I was thinking to a dress i was not wearing since long, and at the beginning i thought to the dresses i use to wear in winter, but then I said to myself there were dresses i had never wear yet!
And the one i chose, is the first brand one i got.
Yeah! I bought it and never ever wear it.
Because i was waiting the right moment, silly me!.

I bought it second hand from the italian community forum, and I was very excited being it my first brand piece.
The dress I'm talking about is Fairy Pring JSk by BTSSB

A very old jsk from 2003, but still lovely!

Thinking about that dress i told my self why i was still waiting to wear it.
For a special moment?
Every moment can be special if i want to make it so!
Tehn, i decided to wear it on saturday to go to friend place for having dinner together with other friends too.

I know, no blouse, no socks or tights, but it is still really HOT here.

This is the brooch i found on the ribbon in my Vip bag to frock on....actually i found a white cat but i switched it with a friend of mine who got this one, because it looks like my cat Ichi :)

For the dinner somebody prepared the appetizer, somebody the pasta, somebody else got us the wine, and I made those pancake.

We had lot of fun as usual!

LBC: If i had a lolita themed cafe

I'm so sorry i did not take part to the last LBC topics, but i just wasn't in the mood.
But let's just go ahead.

This new topic seems really nice!
So i went on the sims and build my cafe!

I would just call it Sidhe's probably, or something similar.

It would have a classic style, and i would build the ambient to give a sense of peace and elegance.

Of course people who works there should be dressed in lolita, victorian or steampunk style, i would try to talk tho everybody and make the work nice and fair for everybody.

I would serve cakes, sweets, cookies, pies, and so on, but i would also give the opportunity to eat healty, with fresh fruit, vegetables, fresh fish, but all served in a way that looks pretty, so would be a pleasure to eat that too.
There would be tea and coffee, but also soft drink and cocktails.
Free wi-fi, books to read and games to play!

LBC: Your favorite dress

As you should already know, I'm still working on my loltia base wardrobe.
I do a small order every month, but the delivery is looooooooong.
So, i really fell in love for this jsks and i wanted it for winter events (we should have a tea party at the beginning of next year)

I wanted it in this precise color, but it was out of stock (sigh) so i ordered it in brown.
Brown is okay too, i wanted a brow/cream/beige outfit, so i'm working on this, getting the thigh, hair accessory, and everything needed for this outfit....while waiting for the jsk.
I would love wear it and show you how it look on me but...i ordered it on november the 5th, and it has not even arrived yet to the shopping service :(

So...i feel a bit unlucky with this jsk.

Another dress/jsk i really wanna get is a classic/country, something with flowers, like this

perfect for spring and summer, picnic and when my bf takes me to his family countryside.

Lolita Blog Carnival: DIY gift ideas

What a great topic for this time of the year!
We are all in turmoil 'cause Christmas gifts!
Let's start to explain what DIY means, for those who has not english as first language as me ( i had to google it!)
Do
It
Yourself

We know many lolita girls loves to craft!
I've been lucky 'cause i was already crafting a gift for a friend of mine.

My idea is an hairband.
I got some plain metal hairband from etsy (it took quite long to arrive, next time i'm gonna buy in europe to get faster delivery).

I used water based glue, ribbons and lace (and some fantasy!)
I'm making some hairbands for me, one for a friend of mine and one for my bf nephew.
This is the one i made for me, is very simple especially 'cause was the first one i did try.

And this is the one i made for my friend.

The others are not ready yet, i'm very busy with the sewing lessons, the rpg, the live rpg and job and gym and...ohhhh....i need to sleep! ahahah

I also have been commissioned for another one, always as Christmas present, from a friend who saw the last one i made.
And i'm happy about that, 'cause that means they liked it :)

Please if you have any hint about this (or about my english) feel free to let me know, i'm always willing to learn!

Lolita Blog Carnival: 5 themed meetup ideas

Ohhh this week is an hard topic....
FIVE ideas...let's see....

1.
Crossover dressup
When we were at Lucca, some of us went to have dinner together as an official community event.
There, between a laugh and another, we spoke about the idea of a crossover dress up in lolita with a different trend.
For example:
Metal-Lolita
Emo-Lolita
HipHop-Lolita

LoL sorry i made this with paint in 1 minute

This would be hilarious.

2.
Cooking contest

Yeah a meeting where, who wants, can partecipate to a contest and cook a pie or cake or a sweet.
And in the end all those cakes can be eaten by the lolitas who will vote for the tasty one or the cutest one, and there could be a prize.

3.
Iceskate (or just skate)

Lot of fun and cuteness, and even if somebody is not good at skating (i grew up in a place with no ice and no snow so i can just "normal" kate) it's a good opportunity to learn!
And after skating a good hot chololate!

4.
Picnic forever!

I LOVE picnic, i would do a picnic everyday.....uhm....every weekend maybe.
As a theme for food i'd say an healty/natural one, so lot of seasonal food and fruits.
I don't care if is not original, i can't exclude a  picnic! <3

5.
Play your favorite book's character

The meeting could be based on a single book and everybody could re-interpet (sorry i don't know if this is the right word) a character of the book.
Or just everybody chose a character from a book and dress up like it in lolita style
