Shopping in the city

Milan is a quite big city ( in italy at least) and is the main center for fashion, shopping, social life, and events in general.

I moved to here 3 years ago, but i don't live in the city, just a bit outside.
And in the next weeks i'm gonna move a little bit further away.
The good things about where i live and where i'm going to live is the suburban train, called "passante" that is half suburban and half surface.
This train takes me right in the city and under my office!
My office place is very central, i can get from there to almost every side of the town easly thanks the tube or the passante.

My office is where you can see the violet arrow, and the shopping streets are at the orange arrows.

So it is 1 train stop with the suburban train to Corso Buenos Aires

 And 3 stops with the tube from San Babila/Duomo

This is TRAGIC.

Because when the weather is good, or when i'm in need, I go to shopping instead then eat for the lunch break!

Usually, to be honest, I just go with the suburban train because i have a season ticket, so the trip is sorta "free".

I'm happy to live in the area outside the city and to come to work and shopping here.

Milan is a complicate city to live in, you can love it or hate it.

After moving many times I can say that there would not be another city in Italy where I would like to live.

Just i want to stay outside, because I want the green and the quiet, I want to hear birds singing and not the cars.

La Scala Theater

The day after the Teaparty, some of us met up to go visit the most famous theater in Italy , with the San Carlo Theater in Naples.

I'm living in Milan from just 3 years and I did never visit it, so i was happy about this choice.

Milan Japanese school festival

Every year the only japanese school in milan, open the gate to let visitors in for the yearly festival.
The entrance is free, and once inside you can buy food and drinks.

You can pay to try a kimono and get a pic with it.
There are typical games, and a lottery, they makes some typical shows, also about how to make food.

An Halloween Night...mare!

Yesterday I've been on a rush the whole day.....
to be honest I've been on a rush since Monday, with job and preparation for the imminent trip to Lucca Convention.
Thuesday, right after job i run to home to prepare for the night out with my friend, we went to see Rocky Horror Picture show to the local cinema, it was the special Halloween event.
We were all dressed up, and we had the songs lyrics, ready to sing and dance!
That was my outfit

But in the end, we were the only ones dressed up, and nobody was dancing!
But since the music was so loud we singed along and nobody noticed eheheh, us and and an old lady behind us.
It was quite late when we were back home and i had to prepare bag for the day after, cause i was going right after job to see a colleague of mine who is pregnant, with other colleagues (friends), we got lost, we got lot of rain, but we had much fun together, and she is so beautiful! She showed us her home we had never seen and the baby room....OMG so lovely!
After having dinner together i got ready to go to the halloween party with my bf, who was coming to get me, and a couple of friends.

Lolita to the museum

This Saturday I met with some other lolita of the community who lives in my same city.
We first went to a japan restaurant and after that we went to visit the Leonardo Museum, it is a science and technique museum.
There were old trains and boats ( a complete one!), a submarine, and airplanes, it was very nice.
I was very happy to visit the museum 'cause in the city were i was born and i grew up i've been at the museums many times, but i never saw this one here in Milan.

The incoming weekend

This is going to be another very busy weekend, sigh.
It all start today (or in this case it never ended since monday?), i'm going to supermarket to find food colouring for my cupcake, then back to home to bake them.
Saturday morning i have to work till 1pm, after job i go with a friend to a shop at about 30mins of train from here, if she isn't busy for the evening, we are going to eat sushi together for dinner, elswere i'll go home for a second round of bakering and/or sewing (i'm working on a gilet for my bf, i'll post some pics later).
Sunday morning i have to go at the loli-lunch ( <3 ), and the evening i'm going with bf to a pub opening where i hope to dress in PIN UP style (i hope to dress because i don't really have pin up style clothes so i'll try my best with what i have).
And beside all of this i would like to sleep, have a shower or two, set my hair in a way that would work fine with Lolita and Pin Up.
..Oh! and very improtant i need time to play with the cat! Or he is going to moan the whole time!

After job...shopping!

After job i use to go to the gym, 2 or 3 times per week.
Since i went to the gym Monday and Tuesday, today i call it a break and went to shopping instead!
My destination was OVS industry Outlet.
That is in the middle of chinatown.
Ant there are my purchase

A cardigan 15 euro, a pair of socks 4.60 euro  and a bracelet 5.90 euro

I went to OVS looking for a dress, i'm sure i saw it there last time, but it was one months ago, i was just hoping to find it again, but i didn't find it.

I'll try again next month.

After OVS, i went to roam for chinatown to buy cute and useless things ^^

Like this pencil case i will use to store some of my makup since i'm running out of space, and the tweezer 2.50 euro

 Then i also found this cameo brooch, 6 euro, that i was searching for my vampire character, and the hairband, 4 euro, just 'cause i liked it and thought i could find a way to use it.

 TOTAL PRICE 38 EURO!


Oh yeah i forgot but i also bought a pair of lace tights , 5 euro.
